Almost every person uses a design somewhere in their lives whether they realize it or not. Every time you use the layouts of a magazine, the fonts in a book, or even the way you navigate through a website, chances are that you are using some form of design.

When you design something, you create a system to guide people to understand and use it properly. The design thinking process helps teams find the best design solutions to problems. The goal is to solve human problems using the design process. It involves understanding the problem, researching the options, creating prototypes, testing and reviewing the results.

To some people, it means sketching, to others it is a process to define problems, to others it is about bridging the gap between the designer and the end user.
