What does mean by back order?
In stock and back order are two different things. If an item is in stock, you can order it immediately. However, if an item is backordered you will have to wait for the manufacturer to send it to you.

A back order is placed on a product that is in stock with a different customer, and it is usually reserved for a certain number of days.
What does mean backorder on some items?
If an item goes on backorder it means that we will not be able to get that item from our stock until a certain date. If the item is on backorder but you still want to purchase it, you can still add it to your shopping cart.
If you place an order before the item goes on backorder, we will try to get that item as soon as possible. If a company you are interested in carries a backorder on a certain item, it does not necessarily mean the item is in stock. Instead, the company is temporarily out of stock of that item and is expecting to receive more stock in the near future.
What does backorder mean on my account?
If a product is on backorder, you will not be able to purchase it until it becomes available in stock. You do not have to wait on the backorder to be shipped, if you want to, you can cancel your order. To cancel an order, visit the “My Account” section of the website and click on the “Manage Orders” button.
You can view all the backordered items and cancel them individually. You can also cancel all backorder items by A backorder means that an item is in stock but has not been shipped. Typically when an item is backordered, it means the stock will take longer than normal to arrive.
If this occurs, please update your shipping address with the new shipping address. You will not be charged for the item until it’s shipped.

What does mean by back order in product?
A stock on back order is a product that is available in the inventory of the manufacturer but not available in the stock of the retailer. While the product is in stock with the manufacturer, the retailer still does not have it in stock. This means that the consumer needs to wait for the retailer to get more stock. This wait will continue until the retailer receives more stock in their store. If a product is back-ordered, it means that the product is temporarily unavailable to customers as stock is unavailable. You can still order the product and it will be shipped to you when stock becomes available. In some cases, the back-ordered products may be available for cancellation. Once the stock is available, you can cancel the back-order.
