What does my stand for in education?

One of the biggest issues I see when it comes to education is the idea that there is something called a “right” or “wrong” way to learn. Sometimes this idea comes from the media – after all, who wouldn’t want to be entertained? Other times it’s the culture of people who are tired of being told that the way they are is wrong.

I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all educational approach. Each child has a unique learning style and needs. You can’t force your learning style on another child and expect them to excel. Therefore, I believe in customized education for every single child.

Your stand for education is the reason that you stay committed to it. It’s what makes you get up every morning to go to the office, work with your team and develop a curriculum that will help your students succeed. Your stand for education allows you to stay the course, even when the road is difficult. Our educational system is failing. It is unfortunate that our educational system has been made to focus more on standardized tests than on actual learning.
